Sinergia’s contribution for very important projects in the Kuwaiti market - April / May 2015

Sinergia is proud to announce its contribution for three massive KOC’s projects, in explicit the upcoming NEW GATHERING CENTRES – GC29, GC30 and GC31.

Located in north Kuwait, these gathering Centers facilities will receive crude from Kuwait’s second largest oil field, the Raudhatain which can yield 350,000 – 400,000 bpd. They are designed for a multi-stage process that will separate 100,000 bpd, 240,000 barrels per day of produced water and 62.5 mmscfd of associated gas to meet the quality standards of downstream operations in Kuwait.

For this KOC feat, all its three EPC contractors, namely Petrofac - Sharjah (GC29), Larsen & Toubro - Mumbai (GC30) and Dodsal - Dubai (GC31), have jointly recognized Sinergia’s outstanding efficiency in manufacture, testing, supply & erection at Kuwait sites of API 619 Instrument and Plant Air Compressor Packages and they have awarded the joint responsibility of these three GCs to Sinergia.

Over and above, Sinergia is proud to announce another one of its recent and important awarded projects: KNPC CLEAN FUEL Project 2020 (EPC: Petrofac and JGC). Our part in this project includes the supply of API 619 oil free screw compressors and heatless air dryers for Instrument and Plant air packages (Petrofac); our scope of supply includes also heat regenerated dryers commissioned by JGC.

Located in southern Kuwait, it will be completed over a period of approximately four years. The Clean Fuels Project is one of KNPC’s major investment projects to upgrade the Mina Abdulla and Mina Al Ahmadi refineries, in order to reach a daily production target of around 800,000 barrels of oil per day.
